"The actors are each adept at capturing the individuality of style, songwriting and performance, that so defined each of them; for me, perhaps, no one more so than Sheets’ chillingly real, husky voiced Johnny Cash, who is, at once, taciturn, stingingly witty, and welcoming. His renditions of ‘Folsom Prison Blues,’ ‘I Walk the Line’ and . . . ”(Ghost) Riders in the Sky” are as haunting as his ‘Sixteen Tons’ is both meaningful and wry."
